Below you will findinformationhow to make sure that your antivirus will not block HashFish.

Avast Free Antivirus

1. Go to Start and type in %localappdata% and hit ENTER

2. Open HashFish folder

3. Click the address bar and copy the full path with Ctrl+C or right click and Copy

4. Open Avast Free Antivirus

5. Go to Settings -> Components

6. Go to File Shield -> Customise

7. Go to Exclusions and paste the full path from step 3 with Ctrl+V orright clickPaste and click Add

8. Go back to Components -> Behaviour Shield -> Customise

9. Go to Exclusions and paste the full path from step 3 with Ctrl+V orright clickPaste and click Add

10.Laststep is to accept changes by clickinggreenOK button and you're good to go:)

 

AVG Internet Security

1. Go to Start and type in %localappdata% and hit ENTER

5. Go to Menu -> Settings -> Components

6. Go to File Shield -> Customise

8. Go back to Components -> Behaviour Shield -> Customise

9. Go to Exclusions and paste the full path from step 3 with Ctrl+V orright clickPaste and click Add

10.Laststep is to accept changes by clickinggreenOK button and you're good to go:)

 

Norton Internet Security

1. Go to Start and type in %localappdata% and hit ENTER

2. Open HashFish folder

3. Click the address bar and copy the full path with Ctrl+C or right click and Copy

4. Open Norton Internet Security

5. Go Settings -> Antivirus

6. Scroll down to Scans / Low risk and click Configure [+]

7. Click on Add folder and paste the full path from step 3 with Ctrl+V orright clickPaste and click Save

8. Go back to Antivirus -> scroll down to Auto-Protect  and click Configure [+]

9. Click on Add folder and paste the full path from step 3 with Ctrl+V orright clickPaste and click Save

10. You're good to go:)

 

Kaspersky

1. Go to Start and type in %localappdata% and hit ENTER

2. Open HashFish folder

3. Click the address bar and copy the full path with Ctrl+C or right click and Copy

4. OpenKspersky

5. Go to Settings -> Additional -> Threads and Exclusions

6. Go to Manage Exclusions

7. Click on Add folder and paste the full path from step 3 with Ctrl+V orright clickPaste and click Save

8. Please restart your PC and you're good to go!

 

Bitdefender

1. Go to Start and type in %localappdata% and hit ENTER

2. Open HashFish folder

3. Click the address bar and copy the full path with Ctrl+C or right click and Copy

4. Open Bitdefender

5. Go to Settings -> Exclusions -> Add Exclusion

6. Click on Add Folder and paste the full path from step 3 with Ctrl+V orright clickPaste and click Add

8. Please restart your PC and you're good to go!

If you have no antivirus software and you have your Windows Defender up and running, you will have to add HashFish to the exclusions.

To find the folder with our app: press Windows + R key combination while at the desktop and enter %localappdata%

McAfee

  1. Turn on ‘show hidden files’ in the View tab in any given folder
  2. Find McAfee icon in the toolbar.
  3. Click it with Right Mouse Button and choose Change Settings ->Real TimeScanning
  4. Click on Excluded Files menu in the popup window and choose Add File
  5. Find theHashFishfolder on your hard drive
  6. Add HashFish files to the Exclusions, one by one
  7. Please restart your PC and you’re good to go!

 

ESET

  1. Pause the ESET for 10 minutes to download the HashFish app
  2. Open the HashFish installer
  3. Go to Start and type in %localappdata% and hit ENTER
  4. Open HashFish folder
  5. Click the address bar and copy the full path with Ctrl+C or right click and Copy
  6. Open ESET
  7. Go to Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Detection Engine
  8. Click Edit -> Add and paste the app localization address
  9. Turn ESET protection back on.
  10. Please restart your PC and you’re good to go!

 

360 Total Security

  1. Turn on ‘show hidden files’ - while in any folder click on View tab and tick ‘show hidden files’ option
  2. Open 360 Total Security
  3. Click on three dots in the upper right corner
  4. Click on Settings
  5. Go to Trust List and click on Add Directory
  6. Pick the HashFish folder
  7. Please restart your PC and you’re good to go!

 

Panda Dome

  1. Turn on ‘show hidden files’ - while in any folder click on View tab and tick ‘show hidden files’ option
  2. Open Panda Dome
  3. Click on three lines icon in the upper left corner and click Settings
  4. Go to Antivirus and scroll down to Exclusions
  5. Click Add and choose the HashFish folder
  6. Accept the changes
  7. Close all windows
  8. Please restart your PC and you’re good to go!

Malware Bytes

  1. Open Malware Bytes
  2. Go to Settings -> Exclusions
  3. Click Add Exclusion
  4. Choose theHashFish folder
  5. Accept the changes
  6. Close all windows
  7. Please restart your PC and you’re good to go!
